Orta ve büyük marketlerin tamamında zeytinyağı raflarda yerini almış durumda. Genelde ekstra sızma zeytinyağları ve 500 ml’lik renkli cam ve teneke ambalajlar tercih ediliyor. Brezilya’nın zeytinyağı tüketimi 2017/18 döneminde 76 bin ton iken 2021/22 döneminde yüzde 31 artışla 100 bin tona ulaştı. Zeytinyağı tüketiminin gelecek yıllarda da artacağı tahmin ediliyor. 125 bin ton kadar da zeytin tüketimleri mevcut.” dedi.
Başkan Er, Brezilya’nın zeytinyağı ithalatının çoğunluğunun kültürel bağları nedeniyle Portekiz’den yapıldığını söyledi.
“Pazardaki diğer önemli ülkeler ise İspanya, Arjantin, İtalya ve Yunanistan. Bu ülkeler kurmuş oldukları dağıtım ağlarıyla pazarda etkin olarak yer alıyor. Türkiye’nin 2022 yılında Brezilya’ya yüzde 606 artışla 2,1 milyon dolar zeytinyağı ihracatı var. Türk şirketlerinin, orta kalite sızma zeytinyağının yanı sıra Brezilya halkı tarafından birinci sınıf özellikle premium ürün olarak algılanan natürel sızma zeytinyağının pazar payının artırılması değerlendiriliyor. Brezilya’nın zeytinyağı ithalatı 540 milyon dolar. Zeytin ithalatı ise 120 milyon dolar. Brezilya’nın zeytinyağı ithalatında 8’inci sıradayız. İş adamlarının özen gösterdiği ürünlerde kalite ve standartlara uyum, bu özellikler yanında ülkemiz 200 milyon ağaç varlığıyla bu konuda zorlanmayacak bir yapıya sahip. Brezilya’ya gitme planımız dört yıldır gündemimizdeydi. İlerleyen süreçte yapılacak tanıtım etkinlikleriyle çok daha yüksek değerlere ulaşmamız mümkün.
