ABD’de federal olarak sübvanse edilen mahsul sigorta sistemini denetleyen Risk Yönetim Ajansı, ürünlerini yerel olarak satan küçük çiftçilerin yeni bir mikro çiftlik politikası için uygun olduğunu söyledi. Kayıt tutmayı kolaylaştıran ve üretim sonrası maliyetleri kapsayan politika, 2022’den itibaren geçerli olacak.


RMA yöneticisi Marcia Bunger Salı günü yaptığı açıklamada, “USDA, yerel ve bölgesel gıda sistemlerini desteklemeye odaklanıyor ve Micro Farm, her şekil ve büyüklükteki çiftlikleri olan tarım üreticilerine benzersiz operasyonlarını ve risklerini yönetmeleri için nasıl yardım ettiğimizin güzel örneğidir” dedi.

Ajans, yeni politikanın “taahhüt ve kayıt tutma gereksinimlerini en aza indirdiğini ve üreticilerin harcamaları ve bireysel emtiaları bildirmek zorunda kalmayacağını” söyledi.
