Lavanta Bahçelerinde Hasat Coşkusu

Muğla il Tarım Müdürlüğü, Menteşe ilçesinde lavanta ve ‘Ata Tohumu’ projesi kapsamında üretilen kale biberi hasadı etkinliği gerçekleştirdi. Yoğun ilgi gören etkinlikte konuşan Muğla İl Tarım ve Orman Müdürü Barış Saylak, şimdiye kadar 1.3 milyon Ata Tohumu fidesini toprakla buluşturduklarının altını çizerek, “Projelerimizi, desteklerimizi ve eğitim çalışmalarımızı gece gündüz sürdürerek, üreticimizin yanında olmaya devam edeceğiz.” dedi.

Muğla İl Tarım ve Orman Müdürlüğü, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı ile Muğla Valiliği tarafından desteklenen ‘Ata Tohumu’ projesi kapsamında üretilen kale biberi ve bölgenin temel tarım ürünlerinden biri olan lavanta hasadı etkinliği gerçekleştirdi. 

Menteşe ilçesinin Fadıl Mahallesi’nde gerçekleştirilen etkinliğe; STK temsilcileri, milletvekilleri, mahalle muhtarları ve üreticiler katılım gösterdi. Hasat töreninde ilk konuşmayı yapan Fadıl Mahalle Muhtarı Halil Orhan; desteklerinden dolayı Muğla Valiliği’ne ve Muğla İl Tarım Müdürü Barış Saylak’a teşekkür ederek, Tıbbi Aromatik bitki yetiştiriciliği yaparak Muğla tarımına katkı sağlayacaklarını söyledi. 

1.3 Milyon Ata Tohumu Fidesi Toprakla Buluştu
Ata tohumlarına sahip çıkılması gerektiğini belirten Muğla İl Tarım ve Orman Müdürü Barış Saylak ise konuşmasında, kırsal mahallelerde yürüttükleri tarımsal projelere büyük önem verdiklerine dikkat çekti. Bitkisel üretim adına Fadıl gibi merkeze uzak mahallelerde tarımsal projeler üretmeye devam edeceklerini kaydeden İl Tarım Müdürü Saylak, “Muğla’nın her mahallesinde tarım ve hayvancılık yapılmakta. Çevre mahalleler ile birlikte Fadıl dahil 5 mahalle için desteklerimiz, eğitim çalışmalarımız, gece gündüz sürecek ve üreticimizin yanında olmaya devam edeceğiz” dedi. Şimdiye kadar 1.3 milyon Ata Tohumu ve fidesini toprakla buluşturduklarını kaydeden Saylak; Lenox ve Yem Şalgamı Dağıtım projesi, Itri Tıbbi ve Boya Bitkilerinin Üretiminin Yaygınlaştırılması Projesi ile 1963 ten Bugüne Ulusal Tohum Gen Bankamızdan Soframıza Yerli ve Milli Çeşit Sebze Projesi gibi çalışmalarda kendileriyle birlikte hareket eden üreticilere de teşekkür etti.

Konuşmaların ardından tüm protokol üyelerinin katılımıyla lavanta bahçesinde ve biber bahçesinde hasat yapılarak etkinlik son buldu.
