Gıda krizi markaların gündemine de girdi

Gıda krizi tüm dünyanın gündemine oturmuş durumda. İklim krizi başta olmak üzere pek çok faktöre bağlı olarak azalan tarımsal üretim ve artan gıda fiyatları tüm dünyanın sorunu. Bu duruma markalar da kayıtsız kalmıyor. Sürdürülebilir tarıma yönelik projelerin sayısı artıyor.

İki yıldır pandemi ile boğuşan dünya şimdi de gıda krizi ile baş etmeye çalışıyor. Başta küresel iklim krizi olmak üzere pek çok faktörün etkilediği tarımsal üretim, gıda fiyatlarını ciddi oranda artışmış durumda. Günümüzde gıdanın, dengeleri değiştirecek stratejik ürün olarak öne çıktığı da bir gerçek. Bunu son bir ayda Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşı’nın etkilerinde bizzat deneyimledik.

Öyle ki BM Gıda ve Tarım Örgütü (FAO), Ukrayna ve Rusya’dan yapılan gıda ihracatının kalıcı olarak durdurulması durumunda dünya çapında 8-13 milyon ilave insanın yetersiz beslenmeyle karşı karşıya kalacağını tahmin ediyor.

Uluslararası gıda ve yem fiyatlarının savaş nedeniyle yüzde 8 ila 22 arasında artabileceği de öngörülüyor. Bu noktada altının çizilmesi gereken konu şu: tarımsal üretimiyle kendi kendine yetebilen bir ülke konumundan olanlar yeni dünyanın kazananları…

Uzmanlara göre Türkiye, tarımda kendi kendine yetebilen yedi ülkeden biri. Fakat geldiğimiz noktada pek çok kalemde ithalatçı konumdayız. Yaşadığımız gıda krizinden dersler çıkarmak ve ülkemizin tarımsal üretimdeki mucizesini yeniden ayağa kaldırmak şart.

Sürdürülebilir tarım

Bunun bilincinde olan markalar da harekete geçtiler. Bugün; Unilever, Nestle, Migros, Metro, Carrefoursa, PepsiCo, Eti, Dimes, Zade Vital gibi pek çok şirket sürdürülebilir tarım projeleri yürütüyor.

Son olarak Bizim Toptan da onlar arasına katıldı. Yerli tohum ve sürdürülebilir tarım yöntemleriyle üretilen bakliyat ve pirinç ürünleri satışa sundu.

Pandemi sonrası tüm dünyada sürdürülebilir tarımın önemi daha iyi anlaşıldığına vurgu yapan Bizim Toptan Pazarlama Direktörü Raşit Çebi, “Biz de sorumlu üretim anlayışıyla kendi imkanlarımızla, bizim çiftçimizle, bizim tohumumuzla yerel üretimi desteklemeye katkı sağlıyoruz.

“Ülker Bizim Topraklardan” serimizin üretiminde atalarımızın geçmişte kullandığı ve herhangi bir işleme maruz kalmadan yüz yıllar önceki haliyle korunarak bugüne ulaşan doğal yerli tohumları kullanıyoruz” diyor.

Gıda sorunun hemen çözülemeyeceği aşikar. Dolayısıyla önümüzdeki günlerde, sürdürülebilir tarıma yönelik kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk projeleri geliştiren şirketlerin ve markaların sayısının artacağı kesin.

    The currency will be offered to 2.4bn Facebook users, but to function effectively Libra also needs to be accepted by many businesses.
