Metro Türkiye, Hayvan Refahı Ödülleri’nde İki Ödüle Layık Görüldü

Metro Türkiye, Türk-Alman Üniversitesi’nin düzenlediği Hayvan Refahı Ödülleri’nde “İyi Yumurta” ve “İyi Balık” kategorilerinde iki ödüle layık görülerek elde ettiği bu başarıyla 4. kez ödül almaya hak kazanmış oldu.

Tüm faaliyetlerinde sürdürülebilirliği merkezine alan ve benimsediği sorumlu iş modeli kapsamında gıda güvenliği alanında da öncü işlere imza atan Metro Türkiye, Türk-Alman Üniversitesi’nin hayvan hakları standartlarını yükseltmek amacıyla düzenlediği Hayvan Refahı Ödülleri’nde “İyi Yumurta” ve “İyi Balık” kategorilerinde iki ödüle layık görüldü.

Hedef %100 Kafessiz Tavuk Yumurtası ve Sürdürülebilir Kaynaklardan Gelen ‘İyi Balık’ olan çalışmalarında; doğaya ve hayvan haklarına saygı çerçevesinde yürüttükleri sorumlu iş modeli ile bilenen Metro Türkiye Kalite Güvence Müdürü Elif Arabacıoğlu, gerçekleştirdikleri projelerde doğaya ve hayvan haklarına saygıyı işlerinin bir parçası olarak gördüklerini söyledi.

Elif Arabacıoğlu, “Gerçekleştirdiğimiz çalışmalarla 4. Kez Türk – Alman Üniversitesi’nin düzenlediği Hayvan Refahı Ödülleri’ne layık görülüyoruz. Metro Türkiye olarak dört yıldır üst üste ‘İyi Yumurta’ ödülü alıyoruz. Bununla birlikte geçen yıl ‘İyi Besicilik’ ve ‘İyi Balık’ kategorilerinde de çalışmalarımızla ödüle değer bulunduk. Bu yıl ise yine ‘İyi Yumurta’ ile birlikte ‘İyi Balık’ kategorilerinde ödül aldık. Böylesi önemli bir organizasyonda iki ödüle birden layık görülmek gurur verici. Hayvan refahı, çalışmalarımızı gerçekleştirirken her zaman ön planda tutmaya devam edeceğimiz bir konu olacak, önümüzdeki dönemde de bu konuda yeni hedeflerimiz var.” şeklinde belirtti.
