Şişecam, organik ve inorganik kökenli tüm atıkları çevre dostu ve ekonomik açıdan faydalı çıktılara dönüştüren Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’nin sahibi 7Cbasalia ile İsviçre’de global bir şirket kurarak, bu teknolojiyi Mersin tesislerinde kullanmaya hazırlanıyor.

Şişecam, Katı – Sıvı – Gaz formundaki organik ve inorganik kökenli tüm atıkları çevre dostu ve ekonomik açıdan faydalı çıktılara dönüştüren Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’nin sahibi 7Cbasalia ile İsviçre’de global bir şirket kurarak, bu teknolojiyi Mersin tesislerinde kullanmaya hazırlanıyor.
Şirketten yapılan açıklamaya göre, bu hamleyle Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi, dünyada ilk kez endüstriyel alana taşınmış olması bekleniyor. Şişecam, teknolojinin sahibi 7Cbasalia ile yılın ilk yarısında İsviçre’de 7Cbasalia Global isimli bir şirket kurmasının ardından, bu teknolojiyi kendi tesislerinde enerji üretimi, inorganik ve organik atık bertarafı, karbon yakalama ve atık su saflaştırma amacıyla kullanmayı planlıyor.

Projenin çıktıları değerlendirildikten sonra Şişecam, atıkları katma değere dönüştüren bu döngüsel iş modelinin tüm dünyaya yayılmasına katkı sağlaması beklenirken, Mersin’deki Kromsan Fabrikası’na bitişik bir alanda kurulacak olan entegre Basalia Biyo-Döngü Prosesi, günde 80 ton inorganik fabrika atığı ve 150 ton belediye arıtma çamurunu hidrojence zengin yanıcı gaz ve faydalı Basalia Katısına (hammadde) dönüştürecek.

Tesis elde ettiği Basalia Katısı ile saatte 2.500 metreküp fabrika baca gazındaki karbondioksiti tamamen tutabilirken saatte 500 metreküp belediye kanalizasyon suyunu da saflaştırarak (de-iyonize su) fabrika için döngüsel proses suyu haline getirebilme imkanı sunuyor. Bu şekilde, sıfır atık-sıfır emisyona dayalı entegre ve modüler olarak çalışan Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi, dünyada ilk kez endüstriyel alana taşınmış oluyor.
Organik atıklarla birleşen katı atıklar ise önce zararsız hale getirilip ardından bu atıklar aracılığıyla çevreye dost bir enerji kaynağı olan hidrojen gazı elde edilebiliyor. Basalia, atık sorunu olan şirketlere yönelik çevreci ve ekonomik çözümler sunarken, topyekûn şehir ve ülke yönetimleri için de Yeşil ve Döngüsel Şehir çözümleri üretmeyi amaçlıyor. Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’nin yaygınlaşması sayesinde tüm dünyada kirli suların döngüsel olarak geri kazanımı, tüm karbondioksit emisyonlarının sıfırlanması ve doğalgaz eşdeğeri gaz elde edilmesi mümkün olabilecek. 7Cbasalia Global AG; saf hidrojen, güçlü toprak düzenleyiciler, karbon bazlı 3D yazıcı malzemeleri ve hafif inşaat malzemeleri üretilmesi için Ar-Ge çalışmalarını da devam ettiriyor.

“Bu hedefler doğrultusunda geçtiğimiz yıl biyoteknoloji alanındaki ilk yatırımımızı döngüsel ekonomi alanında önemli bir Türk buluşu olan ve sıfır atık & sıfır emisyonla çalışan, Yeşil ve Döngüsel Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’ne yaptık. Her türlü atığı zararsız maddelere dönüştürme hedefiyle geliştirilen bu teknolojiye yönelik yatırımımız Şişecam’ın sürdürülebilirlik hedefleriyle birebir uyumlu. İlk denemelerde başarılı sonuçlar elde edildiğini gördüğümüz ve döngüsel ekonomi alanında çığır açma potansiyeli barındıran Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’ni Mersin’deki tesislerimizde kullanmaya başlıyoruz. Ardından, teknolojinin sahibi 7Cbasalia ile kurduğumuz global şirket aracılığıyla Basalia Biyo-Döngü Teknolojisi’nin uluslararası platformlara yayılımına da katkı sağlayacağız.”
