Dünyanın en büyük yiyecek ve içecek şirketlerinden PepsiCo, gezegene, insana ve doğaya katkı sunacak çalışmalarına devam ediyor. Çevre günü kapsamında çalışanlarıyla pek çok etkinlik gerçekleştiren PepsiCo Türkiye, çevresel sürdürülebilirlik konusunda farkındalık oluşturdu.

Dünyanın en büyük yiyecek ve içecek şirketlerinden PepsiCo, gezegenin limitlerini dikkate alarak, dünya ve insanlar için olumlu değişime ilham vererek, sürdürülebilir bir gıda sisteminin oluşturulmasına katkı sağlamak için PepsiCo Pozitif (pep-pozitif) stratejisi doğrultusunda çalışmaya devam ediyor.

PepsiCo; Pozitif Tarım, Pozitif Değer Zinciri ve Pozitif Seçenekler olmak üzere üç temel başlık altında şekillenen PepsiCo Pozitif stratejisiyle daha sürdürülebilir bir yaşam için birçok çalışmaya imza atıyor. Döngüsel ve kapsayıcı bir sürdürülebilir ekonomiyi hedefleyen bu yaklaşım kapsamında çevresel ve sosyal konularda önemli projelere imza atan PepsiCo, gönüllülüğü benimsiyor ve çalışanlarının içinde yaşadığı ve çalıştığı topluluklarda fark yaratmasını destekliyor.

Dünya Çevre Günü kapsamında PepsiCo, Türkiye’deki çalışanlarıyla birlikte farkındalık oluşturacak pek çok etkinlik gerçekleştirdi. PepsiCo Türkiye çalışanları hafta boyunca sürdürülebilirlik konulu webinarlara katılmanın yanı sıra, ÇEVKO iş birliğiyle iki farklı bölgede eş zamanlı olarak çevre temizleme aktivitesi ve Haytap iş birliğiyle barınak ziyaretlerinde bulundu. 

Düzenlenen webinarlarda PepsiCo Türkiye Sürdürülebilirlik Kıdemli Direktörü Esra İren PepsiCo’nun sürdürülebilir bir gıda sistemi inşaa etmek, dünyanın yenilenmesine yardımcı olmak ve iklim değişikliğinin etkilerini hafifletmek amacıyla yürüttüğü çalışmaları şirket çalışanlarıyla paylaştı. Esra İren, gezegenin geleceği için döngüsel ekonomi anlayışıyla sürdürülebilir üretim ve kaynakların önemine dikkat çekti. Etkinlikler kapsamında PepsiCo Vakfı desteği ve Anadolu Meraları iş birliği ile hayata geçirilen ‘Lay’s Yenileyici Tarım’ projesinin detayları aktarıldı.  Yaptığı tüm çalışmalarda gezegenimiz ve gezegenimizin geleceği için önemli adımlar atan PepsiCo, bu etkinliklerle bu konudaki duyarlılığını ve kararlılığını bir kez daha göstermiş oldu.
