Mengen Tohum Ambarı’nın bir sosyal sorumluluk projesi olduğunu söyleyen Berker Çiftçi, “Atalık tohumları muhafaza ettiğimiz, çoğalttığımız, tohum farkındalığı için eğitimler verdiğimiz bir sivil inisiyatif. Tohum Ambarı’nda şu ana kadar 414 çeşit atalık tohum barındırıyoruz ve 2021 Ocak ayından Aralık ayına kadar 370 çocuğa 12 yaş altında yine ücretsiz eğitimler verdik. Bugün şeflerinizle birlikte tohum farkındalığını tekrar ortaya çıkartmak için Tohum Ambarı’nda buluştuk. Bahçede permakültür uygulamalarını gerçekleştirerek zehirsiz tarım uygulamaları yapıyoruz. Burada yağmur suyu hasadı, maçlama, kardeş bitki uygulaması gibi birçok uygulama gerçekleştiriyoruz.
